Indivisible Abroad condems raides of Ohio Organizing Collaborative
20th June 2026
On June 11th, 2026, over 100 FBl agents raided the offices of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative (OOC) and followed, questioned and harassed staff members and activists in eight cities.
The OOC is a non-profit coalition of over a dozen groups and has been in the forefront of work for democracy, social and racial justice and voting rights across the state.
These federal actions are a part of the Justice Department's intimidation of voters and civil rights activists. The Brennan Center calls it "an egregious abuse of law enforcement for political ends" that "fits a pattern of federal inquiries targeting voting infrastructure ahead of the midterm elections."
The OOC believes that this is test case against state organizers for voters rights.
Indivisible Abroad condemns these raids and stands in solidarity with the OOC.
The whole world is watching.
