Organizational Structure
These are three main ways we communicate within our organization:
-
Regular meetings and working groups:
We have meetings usually on the first and third wednesday of each month; one meeting focuses on general group business and organizing and the other focuses on educational topics. We also have several working groups that members can join. Active working groups may change depending on group interest and capacity. Members can suggest standing groups as well as ad hoc groups that deal with specific events or short-term needs. Current standing working roups:
- Economic Resistance: Boycotts, Support for strikes
- Education
- Electoral
- Administration/Coordination
- Communication: Social Media, Website, Newsletter, Press
- We maintain an active Slack, a virtual space where the work happens between meetings, we share information about organizing and relevant current events, engage in political discussions, and provide support.
- We also maintain active Signal chats where members discuss many issues about the resistance and organizing.
Become involved with local Indivisible groups across Europe, the UK, and Canada
You can be a member of both Indivisible Abroad which is a network of groups and individuals across Europe, the UK, and Canada as well as a local group. People from all countries and regions are welcome! We need presence and assistance across the globe. New international groups are forming all of the time. Here is the list of the current local Indivisible Abroad groups. If there is not a local group near you then we can help you start one! Or you can still join and be part of the international group to be involved in our initiatives and programs.
Actions
We provide information about actions that Indivisible Abroad and our affiliated groups are organizing. We also provide information about actions organized by other groups with similar goals.
